BOOM (বুম) better known by his stage name Boom, is a South Korean rapper, singer, actor, radio host and television presenter. He gained his popularity through his comic appearances on variety shows such as Love Letter and through his hosting in popular shows such as Idol Show, Star King and Champagne, etc. Lee won Best Newcommer Award (2009) and Excellence Award (2011) at the SBS Entertainment Awards.

Starting his career as a hip hop singer, Boom released his first single Boom Up in 2006, and was originally part of the band Nu Clear.

Boom became a regular guest of special segment, Boom Academy alongside  Leeteuk, Eunhyuk and Shindong
