Sy Luan is a Vietnamese musician, singer, and MC of music shows who has gained popularity with hits like Mat Nai Cha Cha Cha,123 Ngoi Sao, Ao Dai Oi or Co Gai Trung Hoa. It is noticeable that he has composed and performed most of his songs, many of which received great critical acclaim. Sy Luan also appeared in several films including Tam Ho Chieu Vao Doi, Khi Nguoi Ta Dep.

Sy Luan was born in a poor family, to a Cambodian father and a Vietnamese mother in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As in high school, he wrote beautiful songs such as Ao Dai Oi, Tuoi Hong, etc. He learned to play guitar when he was in grade 10 and performed at many wedding parties to support his family.
