Chris Brown is an American singer, gaining massive popularity since the release of his first single hit Run It, on his self-titled debut album in 2005, which peaked at No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Throughout his singing career, he has won a Grammy Award and 3 American Music Awards. Besides, in 2007, he was chosen to be one of the most beautiful celebrities by People Magazine. 

He was born in a small town, to Joyce Hawkins, a former daycare center director, and Clinton Brown, an officer. Despite coming from a non-musically inclined family, Chris Brown showed his deep love for music from his early childhood. He learned to sing and dance by himself and performed at church and some local talent shows. His parents soon released his talents and encouraged him to pursue a singing career.

In 2007, Chris Brown began dating the famous female singer Rihanna. Their relationship broke up in 2013 and a left dark spot upon his fame. He was arrested for assaulting Rihanna and he called it “ The biggest wake-up call” for him.
