Antara Roy Chowdhury - (Debashree antara - অন্তরা রায় চৌধুরী) was born on April 5, 1990, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She grew up in Dhaka with her parents and two siblings and attended Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in Dhaka. Antara showed an early interest in music and went on to pursue a career in singing.
