Dale Breckenridge Carnegie ( English : Dale Breckenridge Carnegie ); ( Carnegie remained until 1922); (born: November 24 , 1888 – died: November 1 , 1955) was an American author, professor , and inventor of various popular self-improvement training programs such as self-improvement , salesmanship, corporate training , public speaking, and interpersonal skills. He was born into a poor Missouri farming family. He is How to Win Friends and Influence People(published in 1936), which is still a popular bestseller, sold more than 15 million copies. He is also the author of How to Stop Owning and Start Living , Lincoln the Unknown , published in 1948, and many other books.

The specialty of his book is that it is possible to change the use of others by varying one's own response. [ citation needed ]

Early life 
Dale Carnegie was born in 1888 in Maryville, Missouri . Carnegie was the second son of James William Carnegie (born: Indiana, February 1852 – 1910) and Amanda Elizabeth Harbison (born: Missouri , February 1858 – 1910) from a very poor farming family.

As a boy, he got up at four in the morning every morning to collect milk from the farm's cows, but he continued his studies at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg .

Personal life 
His first marriage ended in 1931. On November 5, 1944, he married Dorothy Price Vanderpole in Tulsa, Oklahoma , who later divorced. There were two girls in Vanderpole's room; Donna Dale Carnegie was born to Rosemary, Vanderpole's first child, and Carnegie. Carnegie died at his home in Forest Hills, Quincy, New York . [1] He is buried in Belton , Missouri , Cass, Cemetery. According to the official biography, Carnegie died on November 1, 1955 of Hawking's disease with complications from uremia . 

Career 
His first job out of college was selling correspondence courses to ranchers, then he made bacon (cured pork), soap , and lard (mixed pork fat) for Armor & Company . He succeeded as head of the firm's sales territory in South Omaha, Nebraska.  After saving US$ 500 in 1911, he left the sales service to pursue his long-held dream of becoming a professor at Chautauqua . He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York , although it is said that once a road show " Poly of the Cycle"” he played Dr. Hartley, but had little success as an actor.  When production closed, he returned to New York and began living at 125 YMCA near Brock while unemployed. It was there that he got the idea of ​​public speaking . At 80% gross dividend he persuades Y Director to teach himself. He ended his first session with a discussion on improvising and asked the students to give speeches on "something to be angry about" and to develop methods for fearless public speaking. In early 1912, Dale Carnegie started the course. Carnegie worked to increase the self-confidence of Americans and earned between 500 and 10,000 US dollars per week .

Contributions 
Perhaps his success began with the change of the last part of the name from Carnegie to Carnegie . He did so under the name of Andrew Carnegie, a well-known and respected figure of that time . In 1916 Dale was able to rent Carnegie Hall . The first publication in Carnegie's writing collection was “Public Speaking: A Practical Course for Business Men” (1932). His best contribution came when Simon & Schuster's "How to Win Friends and Influence" was published. The book was first published in 1936 and became a bestseller. In just a few months, the book was also destined for a 17th printing.  By the time of Carnegie's death, the book had sold five million copies in 31 languages, and more than 450,000 students had graduated from Carnegie's institution. The book is recorded as giving a 150,000-word speech critical of the advancement of adult education at the time. He assisted the US military during World War I.
